Exotic & Emergency Vets in the Charlotte area

Before adopting a hamster, you should have a relationship with a local exotic vet. It's always better to be prepared in case you encounter an unexpected health issue or there's an emergency, rather than scrambling to find someone at the last minute.

I have personally used Providence Animal Hospital, Griffin Avian and Exotic Veterinary Hospital, Carolina Veterinary Specialists, and VEG and had a great experience at all of them. My regular vet for my hamsters (and our cats & dogs) is Dr Erika Lail at Providence Animal Hospital - Rea Rd. She's fantastic!
